What is Discovery?
Discovery is a Youth Ministries tradition unlike any other at Wesley Freedom. Led by dedicated high schoolers and adults, the undertaking of the weekend-long event known as "Discovery" is a multi-month endeavor of preparation.
Discovery is for middle schoolers, by high schoolers, guided by adult servant leaders. But let's be honest: it's just as much fun for the volunteers as the participants!

Discovery Prep!
The most VITAL part of Discovery is the youth and adult volunteers who collectively give thousands of hours to planning, preparing, and running what has become a truly multi-faceted, immersive experience for everyone involved.

HSM dedicates four of its Youth Group meeting times to meet and plan with adult leaders, and a Prep Weekend is held the weekend before the event to do a run-through rehearsal.
Discovery Prep Nights are held concurrently with High School Ministries Youth Groups in January & February to ready for the biggest preparation event of them all: Discovery Prep Saturday, the weekend before DISCOVERY!​Check below for this upcoming year's Discovery dates!
