Why
Jesus tells us in scripture and the Spirit reveals within us that serving others is good. In fact, it's GREAT. Through encountering Christ in the faces and places where we serve (or are served), we grow in faith, humility, and joy. As stated in the Gospel of Matthew, "Whoever wants to be great must become a servant... That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not be served" (Matthew 20: 27-28 MSG). God has told us we can be great; so, let's be great together!

We are all called to love, Christians and non-Christians, alike. In churches, schools, and countless other organizations, service is considered a fundamental part of being a healthy human. Society recognizes that helping others without expectation of repayment is good for the self, good for others, and ultimately, good for the world. So...

Youth and adults from YM have the chance to get to know each other a bit better, discuss relevant topics, and have fun!

The event ends approximately 12:30pm on Sunday.
