 Why
 

Jesus tells us in scripture and the Spirit reveals within us that serving others is good. In fact, it's GREAT. Through encountering Christ in the faces and places where we serve (or are served), we grow in faith, humility, and joy. As stated in the Gospel of Matthew, "Whoever wants to be great must become a servant... That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not be served" (Matthew 20: 27-28 MSG). God has told us we can be great; so, let's be great together!

Society recognizes that helping others without expectation of repayment is good for the self, good for others, and ultimately, good for the world. So...

Exuding enthusiasm and being up for active play are the biggest requirements for youth servers! That, and being ready for cuteness overload!!

    Discovery 2026! Friday, March 20 - Sunday March 22, 2026. High School/Adults arrive by 4pm, Middle Schoolers arrive between 6:30-7pm on Friday. The group will travel on Saturday evening to Merritt Athletic Club for swimming, games, and showers. The event ends approximately 12:30pm on Sunday.
